C. Lawrence Meyer, the firm's managing member, began the practice of law in 1992. 

An honors graduate of the University of Georgia School of Law, Mr. Meyer was honored by being selected as an Articles Editor for the prestigious Georgia Law Review.  Mr. Meyer showed his commitment to fighting for those in need as an intern for the Athens Legal Aid Society and as vice-president of the Equal Justice Foundation.

 

Mr. Meyer began his legal career prosecuting for the Office of the District Attorney in Augusta.  Soon, Mr. Meyer became a law clerk for the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Georgia, Harold G. Clarke.  Moving into private practice, Mr. Meyer worked as an associate for Drew Eckl & Farnham, representing insurers in workers' compensation cases.  He then worked as a senior associate in the business litigation section with Womble Carlyle Sandridge & Rice, PLLC.  While with WCSR, Mr. Meyer handled a broad variety of civil and criminal cases, including class action lawsuits, commercial landlord tenant disputes, condemnation, banking fraud cases, and collection cases.
